THE FIREBIRDS

Our AGM was held in the splendid surrounding of the Furniture Makers' Hall, where over 30 Firebirds gathered to complete the necessary formalities for the year, but also rekindled friendships from our year as Mistresses and Consorts.

The meeting was run with exemplary efficiency by our Chairman, Vicky Nugee, so we completed a review of 2018, an update on the financials, planned events and the web-site, election of three new committee members and a useful Q&A session.  All in a little over 30 minutes.  Which allowed ample time to catch up with news from all and enjoy the wonderful lunch.

If only all business meetings were this efficient, friendly and enjoyable!
